Reporting Confidentially (disclosing your identity)

Your identity will be known by those involved in managing and investigating your concerns, but this will remain confidential. Reporting confidentially helps make the investigation process more efficient as it enables NatWest Group investigators to gather further information if needed and engage with you directly via your preferred method of contact. Unless required by law, your identity, or any other information from which your identity could be deduced, will only be disclosed to others (e.g. the subject of your concerns and/or your line manager) with your consent.

Reporting Anonymously

If you decide to remain anonymous, it could limit the extent and scope of any investigation as we may be unable to gather further information from you about your concerns. We will also be unable to engage with you by telephone or email, therefore you will need to regularly check for feedback via the NAVEX reporting channels.

You are about to report your concerns, which may contain personal data. For example, your contact details, job and position or that of others. We take the collection and handling of information seriously and comply with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

Privacy and data protection

All information you provide will be kept confidential and is handled in line with the NatWest Group Employee Privacy Notice unless otherwise stated within the Speak Up reporting process. The notice tells you why NatWest Group collects your personal information, what can be collected and how it's used. We'll update this document when anything changes to make sure you remain informed and we comply with our obligations under Privacy law.

If you need any further information, please see the About page for the contact details of the Speak Up team or contact your local Privacy Officer.

By proceeding to report your concerns you acknowledge and understand your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Speak Up procedure and our Employee Privacy Notice.
