LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD

Open Line is a confidential channel intended to be available to all Autogrill Group associates, which includes HMSHost Corporation and HMSHost International (and their subsidiaries). This service can be used to ask questions and raise concerns about possible breaches of our Code of Ethics or other governing documents. Open Line can also be used to share examples of outstanding ethical behaviour of your colleagues. The service is accessible via web and phone and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Any query or report you make will be treated confidentially and respectfully.

5 Things you should know about Open Lines:

1. Why should I use OPEN LINE?

Integrity, openness and transparency are fundamentals in Autogrill Group. We have set ambitious goals and met them through consistently high performance, with high ethical standards as the basis for our business all around the world. By working together, we can maintain a healthy environment for all associates in every business and in every geography. It is a clear expectation that everyone takes the time to understand the elements of our Code of Ethics and have these as the basis for the way they work. It is also a personal responsibility to speak up about any potential breach. You are encouraged to seek guidance on ethical dilemmas, provide positive suggestions, or communicate a concern if you see something you are unsure about. By working together, we can ensure a safe, secure, and ethical workplace for everyone.

2. What happens once I've placed a report?

Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up your case. Then, your alert will be assigned to the relevant Ethics Committee (Autogrill/HMSHost). It will be reviewed, and further action will be determined.

3. Is OPEN LINE confidential?

Yes. When you report a concern over the phone, your call will not be recorded, and your phone number will not be captured either. During the call you will be asked to provide the same information you would provide in a web-based report. This means that reports received over the phone have the same security and confidentiality measures applied to them as those provided over the web.

Depending on local legislation, you will be also given the chance to make your report anonymous. This may mean, however, that our ability to investigate and come to a conclusive decision on your report will not be guaranteed.

4. How can I be protected from retaliation?

Autogrill Group does not tolerate retaliation. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment to such is stated in the first part of our Code. We seek to provide a safe, healthy and productive workplace for our associates and our business partners who assist us in our business operations. Every report of retaliation is thoroughly investigated.

5. Who else can I speak to?

Autogrill Group encourages speaking up to the channel you are most comfortable, such as your line manager, another member of management, or any relevant supporting function such as legal or HR.

Open Line is NOT an emergency service. This is not the place to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property and we may not be able to reply immediately. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your public emergency services.
