Every employee must abide by the Syngenta Code of Conduct and its supporting policies, as well as acting in accordance with the laws and regulations of the countries in which we do business. This is absolutely vital if we are to be seen to act ethically as a company and to maintain the trust and confidence of our shareholders.

It is the responsibility of managers to make sure that their teams are aware of the Code and its supporting policies and their practical implications.
Any breaches of the Code will be fully investigated and appropriate action taken. Depending on circumstances, this may include coaching or other disciplinary action, up to and including the termination of employment. In extreme cases we may take civil action or file criminal charges.
