“See it, report it, stop it”

6 things you need to know about Speak Up

What is Speak Up?

The Speak Up enables SWIFT employees and others to raise concerns or dilemmas, or to seek advice on a matter related to compliance with the law and our Code of Conduct, in full confidence and without fear of retaliation. The Speak Up is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This facility is not for customer service complaints or enquiries.

How to use the Speak Up?

You can submit a report to the Speak Up through web-submission or telephone in multiple languages. Please click above links to report a concern online or via telephone. Alternatively, you may consult your manager, Human Resources or your local Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Who else can I speak to?

If you are an employee, we encourage you to report any incidents directly to your manager, Human Resources or your local Ethics and Compliance Officer. However, if you feel you cannot report to a manager, or if you are not an employee, you may use the Speak Up.

What happens if I report a concern via Speak Up?

Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up on your submission. Then, an electronic summary is sent to a Speak Up Case Manager in SWIFT’s Ethics and Compliance team for review and to determine further action.

Commitment to non-retaliation

SWIFT does not tolerate retaliation. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment to such is stated in our Code of Conduct. We seek to provide a safe, healthy and productive workplace for our employees and our business partners who assist us in our business operations. Every report of retaliation is taken seriously.

Commitment to anonymity and confidentiality

When reporting a concern to the Speak Up, you will be asked if you wish to share your identity. Although we encourage you to “Speak Up” freely and share your identity, anonymous reports will be accepted. All good faith concerns you report will be kept confidential, consistent with law and good business practices.
