Speak Out (EthicsPoint) is a confidential reporting channel through which you can ask questions and raise concerns about a risk, misconduct or any wrongdoing including but not limited to breaches of laws, rules, regulations, or internal policies and procedures.

Who runs Speak Out (EthicsPoint)?

Speak Out (EthicsPoint) is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in different languages. Speak Out (EthicsPoint) enables anonymous reporting where this is permitted under local law.

Who else can I speak to?

M&G plc encourages employees to raise concerns through the channel with which they are most comfortable, such as a line manager, another member of management or a relevant supporting function such as HR.

What happens after I contact Speak Out (EthicsPoint)?

Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and password, which we recommend you note down securely. This can be used to follow up on your submission. The report is hosted on a secure server with restricted access. A notification is sent to the dedicated Whistleblowing Team at M&G plc for review and to determine further action.

What is M&G plc's stance on retaliation?

M&G plc does not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, victimization or retaliation. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment to such is stated in our Whistleblowing Policy. Every report of retaliation is thoroughly investigated.

Are the concerns raised on Speak Out (EthicsPoint) secure and confidential?

M&G plc uses NAVEX's solutions to support the administration of Speak Out (EthicsPoint). This solution is hosted on NAVEX's secure servers and is not part of M&G plc’s website or Intranet. Any report you make will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible consistent with the law and good business practices.
