  • Why contact the KARL STORZ Compliance Hotline?

    Ideally we would hope that you feel able to first bring your concerns forward to your manager, Human Resources, Compliance, or other management. However, we recognize that there may be circumstances when you are not comfortable in doing so. It is for these circumstances that we created this tool where you may report your concerns through a completely confidential reporting option.

  • When should I contact the KARL STORZ Compliance Hotline?

    You should contact the Compliance Hotline by phone or online when you see, know or suspect something is unsafe, unethical or unlawful. Open and honest communications are encouraged and supported.

  • Why do we need a Compliance Hotline?

    We want to ensure that we have open channels of communication and that our conduct meets the highest legal and ethical standards, and we can only do that if people have the courage and commitment to come forward.

  • Why should I report what I know? What can be reported?

    We all have the right to work in a positive environment. With that right comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and letting the appropriate people know if someone is not acting appropriately. By working together, we can maintain a healthy and productive environment. Corporate misconduct can threaten the livelihood of an entire company.

  • What type of situations should I share?

    The NAVEX EthicsPoint system is designed for employees, customers or partners to report any violation of our stated Code of Conduct, or another concern you may have.

  • What happens after I contact the Compliance Hotline?

    Reports are entered directly to a NAVEX secure server to prevent any possible breach in security. NAVEX makes these reports available only to specific individuals within the Compliance Department who are charged with evaluating the report, based on the type of violation and location of the incident. Each of these report recipients has had training in keeping these reports in the utmost confidence.
