Step 1 of 4

Report a Concern Online

We strive to conduct our business in a responsible and upright manner. We welcome concerns from anyone within or outside Hempel A/S on acts made by employees, management, our board of directors and business partners linked to Hempel A/S operations, e.g. third party agents, brokers, vendors, suppliers or contractors/subcontractors.

What to report

The Hempel Ethics Hotline is a confidential channel through which you can raise concerns directly to the Hempel Ethics Committee about possible violations of laws or Hempel Policies in the following areas:

  • Fraud
  • Corruption and bribery
  • Health, safety and environment (HSE)
  • Unethical behaviour of senior management (e.g. breach of the Code of Conduct)
  • Discrimination and harassment
  • Competition law violations (antitrust)
  • Violence

Other issues and concerns

Hempel also has Regional Ombudsmen who deal with other issues that employees want to raise with a trusted person confidentially, but don’t qualify as issues handled by the Hempel Ethics Committee. Hempel employees may raise the following types of issues regionally to their respective Ombudsman (list is not exhaustive and only includes some of the most common concerns)

  • Dissatisfaction with your manager
  • Salary
  • Vacation
  • Working hours
  • Unethical or rude behaviour of colleagues

Issues raised through the Hempel Ethics Hotline that do not qualify as serious or sensitive will be forwarded to the respective Hempel Regional Ombudsman upon consent from the person reporting.

The list of Regional Ombudsmen can be found on the Hempel’s Intranet.
