SPEAKING UP AT HARGREAVES LANSDOWN

Our purpose at Hargreaves Lansdown is to empower our clients to save and invest with confidence. Our strategy sets out what we need to do to achieve this; however, it’s our culture, values and behaviours that guide how we work. We want to create an honest and open environment where it’s safe for colleagues to raise any concerns about how we do things. That’s why we’ve launched an independent, speak-up hotline and online form, to make it easy for you to do the right thing and raise concerns, in the knowledge they will be treated seriously and confidentially.

This reporting service is hosted by an independent, third-party provider called EthicsPoint. Through this service, reports of potential wrongdoing in the workplace can be raised via two methods – online, or by telephone – and whether you make a report from home or your HL device, it remains secure and anonymous (if you select to remain anonymous).

The Speak-up framework at HL is an important tool for ensuring all colleagues feel safe and empowered to raise concerns. It applies to all legal entities across the HL Group and to all those who work for HL; whether full-time or part-time, employed through an agency or as a contractor, as well as those acting on behalf of, or representing, HL (such as consultants and other service providers).

See the FAQs for more information.
