Our Commitment

World Food Programme (WFP) is an organization with strong values of responsibility and integrity. Our Code of Conduct contains general guidelines for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics.

WFP is committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. WFP takes all reports of possible wrongdoing seriously.

WFP has established a confidential mechanism, hosted by a third-party provider, Ethics Point, for individuals wishing to report misconduct. It can be accessed worldwide and free of charge. This hotline can be used by both WFP personnel and by people from outside WFP.

You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations of WFP’s Code of Conduct, the Staff Rules and Regulations and other policies, procedures, and administrative issuances, including but not limited to reports of fraud and corruption, sexual exploitation and abuse and harassment, sexual harassment, abuse of authority and discrimination.

Reports of wrongdoing submitted here will be sent to the Office of the Inspector General, Office of Inspections and Investigations (OIGI) by EthicsPoint, on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.

OIGI is responsible for assessing and investigating allegations of wrongdoing or misconduct it receives involving WFP personnel. OIGI is also responsible for assessing and investigating reported allegations of wrongdoing or misconduct it receives involving cooperating partners, vendors and other parties to the detriment of WFP and its beneficiaries.

Please note: OIGI does not investigate performance management, interpersonal or other human resources issues. If reported to OIGI, these matters will be referred to relevant managers for appropriate action.

To Make a Report

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
