Sumitomo Electric Group is an organization with strong values of responsibility and integrity. Our Code of Conduct builds on the Sumitomo Spirit and sets out the standards of high ethical conduct expected of each of us. We all have a responsibility to ask questions, seek guidance and report any potential violations of our Code of Conduct.
Sumitomo Electric Group is committed to an open environment and encourages our employees to approach their supervisor, Human Resources, Compliance Liaison or the Legal Department where they suspect or know of any illegal, unsafe or unethical conduct. For both employees and non-employees who wish to report a concern, you can also contact the Hotline.
The information you provide via the Hotline will be sent to the Compliance and Risk Management Office by EthicsPoint, operated by NAVEX, a third-party independent hotline provider, on a confidential and, should you choose, anonymous basis. Sumitomo Electric Group strictly prohibits retaliation for all reports made in good faith.
See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
