Whistleblowing@DNB is a confidential online channel where you can raise concerns about reprehensible conditions in DNB. Reprehensible conditions are conditions such as breaches of laws & regulations, DNB’s ethical guidelines (Code of conduct) or ethical norms to which there is broad support in society. The service is accessible to all DNB employees or a third party. Reports can be made in English or Norwegian. Any query or report received will be treated in strict confidence.

Why should I report what I know?

DNB shall have a high ethical standard in all activities. Integrity, openness, and transparency are fundamental values in DNB. We are dependent on you, as an employee or third party, being able and courageous enough to report on reprehensible conditions. DNB does not allow reprisals of any kind against those who, in good faith, report a possible breach to Whistleblowing@DNB.

Whistleblowing@DNB offers in addition to online reporting the opportunity to notify by telephone.

Can I choose to report anonymously?

Yes. If you report anonymously, no personal data will be recorded about you.

Are reports to Whistleblowing@DNB secure and confidential?

All reports are treated with confidentially and will only be available to the persons processing your case.

What happens after I contact Whistleblowing@DNB?

Once you submit a question or concern via Whistleblowing@DNB, you will receive a report key and password for your case. You will later within 7 days receive a confirmation that the notification has been received for consideration. Within 3 months at the latest, you will receive feedback on the follow-up of the notification. After an initial dialogue with you on how to proceed, your case will be handled by Group Audit Special Investigations in DNB, which will review the information and decide on further action. If a question or concern is sent by Group Audit employees or involves group EVP, DNB Group Audit or the head of Special Investigations, the summary will be sent BDO Forensic Services.

Who administers Whistleblowing@DNB?

DNB uses EthicsPoint, a tool from a third party company called NAVEX/GCS Compliance Services Europe Unlimited, an unaffiliated service provider located in EU. This ensures full confidentiality for all whistleblowers. EthicsPoint is located on NAVEX secure servers and is not part of DNB's network or services. EthicsPoint does not track your IP address or other data from your device, nor does it store your phone number or record the call.
