What is the Ethics Helpline?

It is a confidential channel through which you can ask questions and raise concerns about ethics, compliance or LYB’s Code of Conduct or other policies.

LYB Ethics Helpline

At LYB, our values – we champion people, we strive for excellence, we shape the future – drive how we behave and are embedded in our Code of Conduct. We trust each other to ensure ownership and accountability as we make the world a better, more sustainable place. And we expect all of our employees and stakeholders to have the courage to raise awareness of possible violations or concerns and take the appropriate action as described in our Code.

Therefore, you are expected to come forward with any questions or concerns you may have. Note that failure to report any suspected Code violation or misconduct immediately may also be considered a violation of the Code.

Non-Retaliation

As part of a culture that empowers us to take ownership, we have a responsibility to our Company and each other, and we are expected to report our concerns when we believe something improper or inappropriate has or may have taken place. However, it can be difficult to uphold this responsibility when we fear retaliation. LYB does not tolerate retaliatory acts against anyone for making a report through our Ethics Helpline in good faith. When you make a report in “good faith”, it means you provide all the information you have and you believe to be true. When made in good faith even if an investigation prompted by your report does not confirm that misconduct has taken place, no action will be taken against you. Therefore, you are expected to come forward with any questions or concerns you may have.
