Safeguarding is the action we take to promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and protect them from harm, abuse, or neglect. At the BBC, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

The BBC is dedicated to an open and transparent environment where honest communication is the expectation, rather than the exception. We ensure that everyone who comes into contact with the BBC can raise a concern confidentially without fear or judgement.

This platform can be used to report any safeguarding concerns, or potential concerns, which may indicate that a child or vulnerable adult is at risk. All concerns reported on the platform will be treated confidentially and triaged by the BBC Safeguarding Team in line with the BBC Safeguarding Escalation Framework.
