REPORT A CONCERN AT FINLAYS
Welcome to Speak Up, a safe place where you can report a concern about actions or behaviours that do not align with Finlays’ values or Code of Conduct.
Six things you need to know about Speak Up
What is Speak Up?
Speak Up is a safe place where anyone, including non-Finlays employees, temporary workers, contractors, suppliers, and anyone working with or on behalf of Finlays, can raise concerns about potential misconduct at Finlays and within our supply chain. Speak Up is hosted on EthicsPoint. This is a third party, completely independent from Finlays, and is run by a company called NAVEX. To Find out more about EthicsPoint, click here.
How do I use Speak Up?
If you feel able to do so, consider raising your concerns with your manager, HR, compliance, or your point of contact at Finlays. To raise a concern via Speak Up, you can do so online or by phone using the links above. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by web and phone and can accommodate calls in languages used and spoken at all Finlays locations.
What happens when I report a concern via Speak Up?
Once you make a report via phone or online reporting, it will be assessed and could be assigned for further action by the most appropriate investigation team. Somebody from Speak Up may contact you to find out more information about your concern. If anyone from the investigation team is involved in the allegations, they will not become aware of the incident or investigation.
If you report anonymously without leaving any contact details, you will need to use the “Follow Up” function regularly, as you will not be able to be notified of any questions/feedback posted.
If you have provided your contact information to Speak Up, but not Finlays, you will receive a notification email when any questions/feedback is posted. Finlays will not be able to see your email address; it is stored securely and used for providing notifications only.
If you have provided your contact information to both Speak Up and Finlays, you will receive a notification email when any questions/feedback is posted. Finlays will also be able to see any of your contact information provided.
Is Speak Up confidential?
Yes, you can choose to remain anonymous, however we encourage you to raise concerns freely, and to share your identity to better help us to investigate.
In either case, you can be assured that your concern will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion.
What is Finlays’ commitment to non-retaliation?
Finlays does not tolerate retaliation in any form. Anyone who raises a concern about a possible compliance breach in good faith will be supported and will not be subject to retaliation. Any act or threat of retaliation is a serious violation of Finlays’ Code of Conduct, internal policies or any other applicable policies including Finlays Sustainable Sourcing Policy, and will be dealt with in the strongest possible terms via the relevant Finlay's Business Unit disciplinary process, which may include dismissal.
Who administers Speak Up?
The Speak Up web portal and phoneline are administered by an independent company, NAVEX.
