What is the Responsible Business Conduct hotline?

The Responsible Business Conduct hotline is the Ricoh reporting channel for external stakeholders. It is a confidential channel to raise suspicions or concerns about violation of human rights and responsible business conducts, including possible breach of the Ricoh Group Code of Conduct, our policies, international or national laws, regulations, standards or guidelines in the Ricoh Group supply chain.

Who administers the Responsible Business Conduct hotline channel?

The Responsible Business Conduct hotline is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in all our local languages. When voicing concerns, you have the option to remain anonymous, where allowed by local law.

Who else can I speak to?

Ricoh encourages speaking up via the channel you are most comfortable with, such as the grievance mechanism for external stakeholders set up by Ricoh Group companies in each country, the Ricoh Group supplier and partner hotline, or JaCER, a complaint channel dedicated to human rights topics.

Ricoh Group employees should use the whistleblower system.

What happens after I contact the Responsible Business Conduct hotline?

Once you submit a question or concern you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up on your submission. Each situation that has been reported will be investigated in accordance with Ricoh's Responsible Business Conduct Policy.

What is Ricoh's stance on retaliation?

Ricoh does not tolerate any form of retaliation against anyone making a genuine report. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment to such is stated in the first part of our Code. We seek to provide a safe, healthy and productive workplace for our employees. Every report of retaliation will be thoroughly investigated.

Are reports to Responsible Business Conduct hotline secure and confidential?

Ricoh uses NAVEX's Responsible Business Conduct hotline case management application to support the administration of the hotline which is hosted on NAVEX's secure servers and is not part of Ricoh’s network. Any report you make will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible.
