Every action matters. Speak up!
Guided by our Mission to contribute to society through developing superior, original technology, products and services and the ideas of Kihon-to-Seido (Basics and Ethics), Hitachi has built a high level of trust with our customers, business partners, shareholders and one another.
When employees, contractors and business partners observe or suspect something that conflicts with the Hitachi Group Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, company policies or protocols or laws and regulations, Hitachi encourages you to speak up and report it.
You may communicate with us confidentially and anonymously, where permitted by law. If you choose to raise a concern, the Hitachi Global Compliance Hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Hitachi takes all reports seriously and prohibits harassment, discrimination or retaliation against any current or former employee who raises concerns in good faith about unlawful or unethical conduct.
Together, we must hold ourselves to the highest standards of business ethics and integrity, fulfilling our Mission and working to improve people’s quality of life and our customers’ social, environmental, and economic values to create a sustainable future.
Why speak up?
Acting ethically and honestly includes speaking up when we believe someone has engaged in conduct that violates the law or the Hitachi Group Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
How do I speak up?
If you learn about ethical issues and potential misconduct or unsafe behavior, report it to your manager or a Human Resources, Compliance or Legal team member.
You can make a report online or, in most countries, by calling a toll-free number. In some countries, local laws may restrict the types of reports that may be made using this website or the hotline. Where allowed by law, you can choose to report anonymously.
After reporting a concern, return to this site and use the Report Key and password to access information regarding your report or requests for more information.
