This system allows colleagues to report any concerns they may have with confidence.
Concerns can cover a wide range including harassment, discrimination, fraud or theft, safety and security matters, policy violations or any other workplace concern.
The business has a whistleblowing policy which sets out how we will manage any reports we receive of this type. See “Appending Documents” tab above for more detail.
Colleagues should normally report concerns to their Line Manager or HR colleague. However, we recognise there may be times when this is not appropriate e.g. a report about a line manager and, in this type of situation, colleagues may wish to use the hotline.
We also know that colleagues may sometimes wish to report a matter on a confidential basis and if this is the case, we will respect this. The hotline service is available, 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year. It is administered by an external specialist company, NAVEX, and their processes ensure confidentiality.
Colleagues making reports do not have to give their name if they do not want to and they can make reports anonymously. Please remember though that being able to talk to a colleague confidentially about their report can often help the investigation.
Anyone who reports a matter in good faith can be assured they will not suffer any repercussions.
After you complete your report, you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 2-3 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
