Information for whistleblowers

The Quitoque Ethics Line is an alternative to the existing internal channels, which are the preferred options: line manager, Human Resources Department, Legal Department or Ethics Committee.

Use of the Quitoque Ethics Line is voluntary, and is left entirely to the discretion of employees, as well as external and occasional staff.

The information you provide about yourself, your colleagues and any aspect of the company’s business operations, may lead to decisions that will impact on third parties. We therefore ask you to provide only information that, to the best of your knowledge, is correct and factual.

Using the system in good faith, even if the facts later prove to be incorrect or are not followed up, will not incur any disciplinary sanctions for the whistleblower.

However, any employee who abuses the system may be liable to disciplinary measures.

Processing of personal data

Quitoque processes personal data for the purpose of managing and monitoring the whistleblowing system.

The legal basis of this processing is compliance with the statutory obligations governing the Quitoque, and specifically law no. 2016-1691 of 9 December 2016 on Transparency, the Fight against Corruption and the Modernisation of Economic Life.

Data gathering is limited to the information that is strictly necessary to ensure effective use of the whistleblowing system. This information is mandatory and no follow-up action can be taken on an alert unless it has been provided.

It is not compulsory to provide details of your identity when issuing an alert.

However, we do not encourage you to remain anonymous.

Confidentiality of information is guaranteed at each stage of the reporting process.

All the operating procedures for the whistleblowing line and the use of personal data are described in the "Procedure for gathering and processing whistleblowing data".
