What is Speak Up?
Broadly speaking, Speak Up enables confidential reporting of concerns of malpractice or illegality impacting Currys Plc (Currys) business. This may include, but is not limited to, security breaches, theft, fraud, or other criminal offences, non-adherence to legal or regulatory obligations, bribery, or worker’s rights. Our confidential reporting channels (telephone hotline / online / mobile) allow you to report your concerns so that we can act on them.
Who administers Speak Up?
Speak Up is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in more than 75 languages. You can contact Speak Up anonymously, where allowed by local law.
What happens after I contact Speak Up?
Once you submit a question or concern via telephone hotline / online / mobile, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up on your case. An electronic summary is then sent to a representative in Currys’ Confidential Hotline Team for review and to initiate an investigation (where deemed necessary).
Who else can I speak to?
Currys encourages reporting concerns to the channel you are most comfortable with, such as your line manager, your line manager’s manager, or in some cases Employee Relations - E.g., a personal complaint about your own employment situation, such as issues or problems affecting you at work.
Are reports to Speak Up secure and confidential?
Currys uses NAVEX’s EthicsPoint Incident Management application to support the administration of Speak Up. EthicsPoint is hosted on NAVEX’s secure servers and is not part of Currys’ website or intranet.
