Things you should know

Report handling and follow-up

You can submit a report either by selecting the “file a report” link or by phone. The hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The report you submit will be forwarded to Pharmathen’s designated Report Investigations Committee, in electronic format, for evaluation, in accordance with applicable laws. The Officer responsible for the receipt and monitoring of reports may contact your for follow-up questions either through the follow-up function or by using your contact details, if they are available (non-anonymous report). After you complete your report, you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. You can use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

Confidentiality and anonymity

The information you submit will be kept confidential to the maximum extent possible as permitted under applicable laws. For that reason, the hotline is located outside of Pharmathen’s IT environment and is hosted by an independent company, NAVEX on its secured server EthicsPoint. The same applies to the telephone hotline which is also made available by such third-party. Moreover, necessary precautions are in place both technically and operationally, to ensure that the Report Investigations Committee reviewing your report will not be subject to a conflict of interest. For more information on how we handle reports internally please read our Standard Operating Procedure for Complaints Handling and Whistleblower protection.

Non retaliation

No form of retaliation shall be taken against any employee who, in good faith, reports or participates in the investigation of a possible violation, even if it later turns out to be factually incorrect. Therefore, we ask you to keep in mind that the information you provide about yourself, your colleagues or any aspect of Pharmathen’s operations, may lead to decisions that affect others. However, please be aware that knowingly providing false information will not be tolerated. Anyone who retaliates against an employee for reporting or participating in an investigation, will be subject to disciplinary action.
