Our Commitment

At the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), we uphold the values of responsibility and integrity. Our Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual contains general guidelines for conducting business with the highest ethical standards, and we aim to remain compliant with these principles.

We are committed to establishing an environment where open, honest communication is the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management, especially in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred.

  • In situations where you prefer to make an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, which is hosted by EthicsPoint, a third-party hotline provider.
  • You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations stated in any of our policies, ask for guidance related to policies and procedures, and provide positive suggestions and stories.
  • The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your voice will be heard.
