What would I call the Helpline about?

The Helpline receives calls from partners, all staff levels at the firm, clients and other third parties and is available 24 hours a day, every day. In general, calls relate to matters of responsible business conduct and professional behavior.

What happens when I call the Helpline?

A representative from NAVEX Global, a third party contracted by PwC to document questions and concerns, will ask you a series of questions and record your question or concern. A PwC colleague from the Ethics & Compliance Office will review and determine how best to assist you.

Why is it so important to voice my concerns?

Our business is based on trust. The trust our clients place in our work for them. The trust the public places in our integrity. And the trust we place in each other to do the right thing.

Can I report a concern anonymously?

You may make an enquiry or report a concern anonymously if preferred. You will be provided with a Report Key and create a personal password should you want to follow up.

Who will know that I contacted the Helpline?

When calling the Helpline, it’s up to you whether you want to give your name or remain anonymous. The Helpline doesn’t use caller ID. When handling a concern, our Helpline team tries to protect the confidentiality of anyone who reports a concern.

Could I get in trouble for reporting a concern?

PwC is committed to treating our people fairly. The firm will protect partners and staff against any form of reprisal for reporting, in good faith, actual or suspected violations of a law, regulation, the global Code of Conduct and other firm policies.

What are the consequences for violating the Code of Conduct?

A staff member who violates the Code of Conduct and other firm policies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal; partners/principals will be referred to the Partner Affairs Committee of the Board.
