What is the Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline?

The Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline is a confidential channel through which you can raise concerns or report possible violations of laws, our policies or our Code of Conduct. The Ethics Hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

What does the Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline not cover?

The Ethics Hotline is not for questions regarding job applications , commercial queries or disputes, ordinary HR queries or complaints (e.g. salary, performance, annual leave, holiday), or general questions about Maersk Drilling. Instead, please direct issues such as these to the relevant company contact or function

Who else can I speak to?

Maersk Drilling encourages reporting concerns through the channel you are most comfortable with. For employees, this may be your direct manager, member of management, or a relevant supporting function such as legal or HR. For external stakeholders, this may be your primary contact within the Maersk Drilling organization. The Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline is available as an alternative if you are uncomfortable reporting through other channels.

How will my report to the Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline be handled?

Once you submit a report to the Ethics Hotline, you will receive a report key and will be asked to set a password for follow-up on your submission. Your report will be initially reviewed by our Legal Department, which will then determine further action.

Who administers the Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline?

The Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline is administered on the EthicsPoint platform provided by an independent company, NAVEX Global.

Are reports to the Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline secure and confidential?

The Maersk Drilling Ethics Hotline system is hosted on NAVEX Global’s secure servers (not on Maersk Drilling's website or intranet).

All reports made to the Ethics Hotline are handled in accordance with Maersk Drilling’s policies and are kept confidential to the fullest extent possible while conducting a thorough investigation. Individuals will be notified of and/or involved in an investigation only on a "need to know" basis.

We do not tolerate retaliation against individuals for reports made in good faith.
