6 things you need to know about Speak Up

Why should I report my concern? What can be reported and who can report?
We all have the right to work in a positive environment. With that right comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and letting the appropriate people know if someone is not acting appropriately. Corporate misconduct can threaten the livelihood of an entire company.
The Speak Up hotline is designed for employees to report any violation of the Pernod Ricard Code of Business Conduct, or another concern they may have regarding ethics and compliance. It is not to be used for routine HR issues (such as individual payroll queries or performance issues), these should be addressed and handled by your local management team. Also, general inquiries and consumer issues should be addressed to the appropriate consumer services.
The Speak Up hotline is opened to all Pernod Ricard employees as well as external stakeholders, namely: employees as well as former employees, trainees, persons having a self-employed status, shareholders, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers.
What is the Speak Up hotline?
Speak Up is the name Pernod Ricard has given to a confidential reporting tool created and maintained by an independent third party, NAVEX. The tool is called EthicsPoint by NAVEX which is why you will find reference to EthicsPoint throughout the tool in the small print.
What happens after I contact the Speak Up hotline?
Reports are entered directly to a NAVEX secure server to prevent any possible breach in security. NAVEX makes these reports available only to specific individuals who are tasked with evaluating the report, making sure that proper investigations are conducted by appropriate persons, based on the type of violation and location of the incident. Each of these report recipients has had training in keeping these reports in the utmost confidence.
Who else can I speak to?
You are encouraged to report concerns to the channel you feel most comfortable approaching.
Should any Pernod Ricard employee have a concern, they should contact their line manager, another member of the management, HR, Legal or Compliance teams at local or global level.
Should any external stakeholder/partner have a concern, they can raise it with their main Pernod Ricard point of contact.
We encourage the use of our internal channels including the Speak Up hotline; reports may be raised to the appropriate authorities, when permitted under local laws.
Are the reports to the Speak Up hotline secure and confidential?
Yes, either you choose to submit a report via the web portal or by phone, the Speak Up hotline ensures a secure and confidential environment for collection, storage and transmission of reports.
Am I protected against retaliation if I call the Speak Up hotline?
You will not be subject to retaliation from Pernod Ricard for any report of a suspected violation that is made in good faith, even if it later turns out to be factually incorrect. Please be aware, however that knowingly providing false or misleading information will not be tolerated.
