What is Speak Out?
Speak Out is a confidential channel through which you can ask questions and raise concerns
about ethics, compliance or a breach of regulation, an illegal act or a dangerous activity
that you have become aware of through your work.
Who runs Speak Out?
Speak Out is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), is available 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in different languages. You can contact
Speak Out anonymously from anywhere in the Group.
Who else can I speak to?
Prudential encourages speaking up to the channel with which you are most comfortable, such
as your line manager, another member of management or a relevant supporting function such as
legal or HR.
What happens after I contact Speak Out?
Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and
password which can be used to follow up on your submission. The report is hosted on a secure
server with restricted access. A notification is sent to Group Security for review and to
determine further action.
What is Prudential's stance on retaliation?
Prudential does Not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, victimization or
retaliation. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment to such is
stated in our Speak Out (Confidential Helpline) Policy and within the Group Code of Business
Conduct. Every report of retaliation is thoroughly investigated.
Are the concerns raised on Speak Out secure and confidential?
Prudential uses NAVEX's solutions to support the administration of Speak Out. This
solution is hosted on NAVEX's secure servers and is not part of Prudential’s website
or Intranet. Any report you make will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible
consistent with the law and good business practices.

treated in confidence: you will be protected and the concerns you raise will be taken seriously by
the Group.
We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management in instances where you
have concerns about behaviour or conduct, or where you believe policy violations have occurred. In
situations where you prefer not to, you are encouraged to raise a concern in confidence through the
Speak Out hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider: NAVEX (EthicsPoint is the name
