About the hotline

The Ethics and Compliance Hotline is a confidential channel to ask questions and raise concerns about possible breaches of Telenor’s Code of Conduct, including relevant laws, regulations and Governing Documents. The service is accessible via web and phone and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It can accommodate reports in the local languages of all Telenor’s markets. Any query or report you make will be treated confidentially and respectfully. We encourage employees, suppliers and other stakeholders to speak up through the hotline.

For any customer concerns, please contact your local customer service.

Who else can I speak to?

Telenor Group encourages you to speak up via the channel or the person you are most comfortable with. In addition to using the hotline to report or to seek advice, you can speak to your line manager or any member of the Ethics and Compliance team at your company or at Telenor Group.

Can I choose to report anonymously?

Yes, you can. If you choose to report anonymously, no personal data will be recorded about you. However, if you provide your personal data, it might help the process to clarify or investigate your concern.

Who administers the Ethics & Compliance Hotline?

The Ethics & Compliance Hotline is operated by NAVEX Global, an unaffiliated service provider located within the EU. The reason it is set up this way is to guarantee confidentiality and provide you with the option to file a report without stating your name. All reports are handled by the appropriate Telenor Ethics & Compliance team.

What happens after I contact the Ethics & Compliance Hotline?

Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up your case. Then, an electronic summary will be sent to a case manager in the Ethics and Compliance team for the relevant company in the Telenor Group. The team will then review the information and determine further action.

Why should I report what I know?

Integrity, openness and transparency are fundamentals in Telenor. We have set ambitious goals and met them through consistent high performance, with high ethical standards as the basis for our business all around the world. We all have the responsibility to act in an ethical manner and to speak up if someone is not acting according to the standards in our Code of Conduct. You shall report any act that is likely to constitute a breach of the Code of Conduct to the Ethics & Compliance Hotline. Consult your local Ethics & Compliance Officer/Advisor, the Ethics & Compliance Hotline or your leader if you need advice concerning the reporting of breaches. Telenor does not allow reprisals of any kind against those who, in good faith, report a possible breach of the Code of Conduct.

Are reports to the Ethics & Compliance Hotline secure and confidential?

Telenor Group uses NAVEX Global's case management application called EthicsPoint to support the administration of the hotline. EthicsPoint is hosted on NAVEX Global's secure servers and is not part of any web or intranet of any company in the Telenor Group. We do not track your IP address or any other data from your PC, and we do not capture your telephone number or record your call. Any report you submit will be kept confidential and only accessible to the Ethics & Compliance team.
