The Speak Up Hotline is one of our reporting channels. It offers a confidential way through which you can raise suspicions or concerns of potential breaches of the Brambles Code of Conduct, the policies referenced in the Code of Conduct or law.
The Speak Up Hotline is administered by an independent third party, NAVEX. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in all our local languages. You can contact EthicsPoint anonymously by phone or through the web from most locations.
Brambles encourages speaking up using the channel you are most comfortable with, such as your line manager, another member of management, a relevant supporting function such as Legal or HR, or any member of the Global Ethics and Compliance Team.
Once you submit a question or concern via phone or web, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up on your submission. Each situation that has been reported will be investigated in accordance with Brambles’ Speak Up Policy.
Brambles will not tolerate retaliation against any of us for raising a good faith concern, asking a question, or participating in an investigation. We consider acts of retaliation, which is very broadly defined by our Code of Conduct, to be serious misconduct and a breach of our Code of Conduct. Every report of retaliation is thoroughly investigated.
“Good faith” does not mean that the investigation confirmed that the reported concern or activity was occurring or had occurred and was a violation of Brambles’s policies. Instead, it requires only that the reporter had reasonable grounds for raising the concern.
Brambles uses NAVEX's EthicsPoint case management application to support the administration of the Speak Up Hotline. EthicsPoint is hosted on NAVEX's secure servers and is not part of Brambles’s website or Walter (our company intranet). Any report you make will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible.
