The Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics ("FIND") is a not-for-profit organization focusing on addressing diseases of poverty by targeting the first step in the treatment pathway: diagnosis. Integral to this focus on improving global health, is FIND's strong emphasis on its values of responsibility, ethics and integrity in all it does. FIND's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the "Code") contains guidelines for conducting business in accordance with these values. The FIND Code is part of the contract terms of all directors and members of staff, and of consultants, suppliers, service providers and project partners that work with FIND (unless such partners already have similar rules of their own that are published and to which they are held accountable). FIND’s statement on child rights and safeguards describes our pledge to protect children and vulnerable groups in all our work.
FIND's commitment to these values is manifested in an environment where open and honest dealings are a requirement, not an expectation, and where all people are treated with dignity and respect. FIND wants all staff, consultants and external partners working with the organization to feel comfortable in raising any concerns they may have about business ethics or behavior, whether real or perceived, relating to activities in which FIND is involved or considering involvement. They should feel free to approach any supervisor or management in instances where they believe any violations of FIND’s Code may have occurred.
This website is designed to facilitate any report by those working at or with FIND who are not comfortable speaking directly to anyone within FIND. Should you face a situation where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are invited to use this website, which is hosted by a third party provider, EthicsPoint. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to possible violations of FIND’s Code. You are also invited to let us know of positive suggestions and stories that you think will be of assistance to FIND in meeting its own standards. Please note that it is FIND’s position that filing such a report is also part of your responsibilities to the organization, whether as an employee, consultant, supplier, service provider or other partner involved in any FIND project, if you come across any questionable practices and do not feel direct dialogue with the persons concerned to be possible or appropriate.
As stated in FIND’s Code, an individual making the report will not be discharged, threatened, harassed, or discriminated against for reporting in good faith what they perceive to be wrongdoing, violations of law, or unethical conduct.
It is important that FIND follow up diligently on all issues that might impact its operations and reputation. FIND guarantees that the comments you submit via this website will be sent to FIND by EthicsPoint. FIND will direct the comments to the appropriate person for attention and action, including to external investigators if necessary. The information will be provided to FIND on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you designate this accordingly when filling out your report form.
Please see the Q&A webpage developed by EthicsPoint for FIND (the EthicsPoint FAQs) for any additional information. We thank you in advance for your assistance in helping FIND to continue to do better than its previous best in meeting these standards.
