Follow-up on a Report

Gildan is committed to maintaining high ethical standards in all of our operations and business practices worldwide. Our conduct with fellow employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders affects the integrity and credibility of the Company as a whole. Maintaining ethical business relationships and acting responsibly in all countries in which we operate are both critical to our reputation and our success. This is why Gildan first adopted the Code of Ethics more than a decade ago and continues to monitor and enforce compliance with the Code to this day.

Over the last decade, the environment in which we conduct our business has become more challenging, from increased regulatory scrutiny over financial reporting and controls to growing enforcement of legislation combating bribery and corruption. The Company and its business have grown significantly as well, not only in terms of numbers of employees, but also in terms of breadth of operations and geographic scope. We are a Canadian company with a global reach and are subject to multiple laws and regulations in many jurisdictions worldwide.

It is against this backdrop that we have partnered with EthicsPoint, a world-class independent company that specializes in handling confidential reporting of workplace and ethical issues and concerns.

You can report any concerns by either calling the Ethics and Compliance Hotline using a local toll-free number or by submitting a report online on this web page. All reported information will be kept confidential and will be addressed in a timely manner as per Gildan's Whistleblowing Policy for Employees and External Stakeholders.

Employee concerns of improper practices or questionable acts can include but not necessarily be limited to matters of:

  • questionable accounting practices, internal accounting controls or auditing matters;
  • internal control weaknesses;
  • theft, corruption or fraud;
  • conflicts of interest;
  • breaches of confidentiality;
  • improper use of the Gildan name or property;
  • violations of human rights practices, community involvement or environmental matters;
  • health and safety issues at Gildan or third-party contractor facilities;
  • violations of Gildan’s Code of Conduct by Gildan or any of its employees, contractors, consultants, agents or suppliers; or
  • violations of Gildan’s Code of Ethics or any other Company policy by Gildan or any of its employees, officers or directors.
