Things you should know
Confidentiality and anonymity
The information you submit will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible and according to the requirements of any local laws. For that reason, the hotline is located outside Saab’s IT environment and hosted by an independent company, NAVEX on its secured server EthicsPoint. If local law permits, you may remain anonymous, but Saab encourages you to identify yourself to facilitate an investigation.
Handling of your report
Once you have submitted your report, it will be provided to Saab’s special investigations team in electronic format for evaluation and investigation according to local requirements. An investigator may contact you for further details, either through the follow-up function or your contact details. All reports that lead to an investigation are reported to Saab’s Ethics and Compliance Board to the extent permitted by local laws. The investigation will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible.
Follow up
After you have submitted your report or question you will receive a unique report key. Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. You can use them to check your report for feedback or track the answer to your question, and still remain anonymous.
No retaliation
Saab does not tolerate retaliation. Indeed, we consider acts of retaliation to be a violation of Saab’s Code of Conduct.
Restrictions
In some countries, local laws restrict what may be reported through the system. If a report cannot be filed, Saab encourages you to speak with your manager, human resource representative or an Ethics and Compliance Officer.
Availability
The hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By phone, it can accommodate calls in more than 75 languages.
